I found this article that I feel gives a good overview of a situation that happened last month just before the Cambodian elections. It also shows how biased the media are here.
People have said that this year's election was a less violent one, with only 10 people being killed, but to have a journalist affiliated with a minority political party murdered just goes to show the levels of corruption that exist this country.
This week's newspapers say Prime Minister Hun Sen has vowed to find the killers, and that he isn't sure that the murder was politically motivated. I suppose as the story develops we will find out...
