I'm working on posting stories and pictures from my Khmer New Year in Battambang, but the uploading takes time. (This is Cambodia, after all.) In the meantime read Turner Wright's article
"Growing Up: An Essay from the Immature Traveler" found in Vagabondish that explains why crazy travelers give it all up for the open road.
"It’s the human experience, one that needs to be pursued to its fullest potential."
Enjoy.

The human experience definitely needs to be lived to the full potential. :)
I have that article saved to my bookmarks to read every once in a while to gain perspective. I found it when I was trying to convince my boyfriend to go out of his safety zone and travel with me. I'm still working on him!
