Listen to the Music

I'm still loving the music and mission of Tiny Toones. Today, I visited "Peanut," a Cambodian-American hip-hop enthusiast from Seattle, at the Tiny Toones drop-in center where the organization reaches out to hundreds of kids daily. He showed me around the center where they teach everything from break dancing to computer skills to HIV/AIDS prevention. He also gave me a demonstration of how he creates his music, using traditional Khmer music as his inspiration. They don't have a CD out yet, but listen to some of their music on Myspace.
