Sunday Break

Let's face it. I'm an extremely impatient person, and the economy perpetuating my incessant job search has been a true test of that patience. Waiting for decent job openings. Waiting for callbacks. Waiting for job offers. It's all waiting waiting waiting.

All the waiting has made me antsy, so I've been traveling around for this that and the other. If my posts seem few and far between, this is why. I profusely apologize for my lack of dedication lately, but this past week has been a lot of fun. I've caught up with my best friends, had dinner with my cousin who just started at Xavier University and attended friends' Sara and Nick's housewarming.

Luckily, though, it's Sunday and I can take a break. A break from the waiting. A break from the running around. A break from reality. That's why I love Sundays. So I'm sitting here in my kitchen, watching the typically drab Ohio clouds blanket this crisp, cool day, drinking my Earl Grey tea and uploading new music to my iTunes. (I'm especially loving Lucinda Williams' album Essence.)

I hope your Sunday is as nice and cozy as mine!

Waiting blows. I waited around for about a year and a half before I landed my dream job ... which we all know I handed back and walked away from about two years later for my crazy new life. :) Good Luck with your job search though! I'll keep an eye out!
